The Department of Administration, Office of Violence Prevention and Trauma Recovery, is now accepting proposals from Newark organizations to serve as providers of community-based violence intervention and prevention programs in the following three (3) categories, which are associated with Newark’s violence reduction initiative: 1. Community Violence Intervention, 2. Community Violence Prevention, and 3. Community Violence Intervention and/or Prevention Treatment. The Request for Proposal (RFP) process will commence on March 20, 2023 and end on April 21, 2023. Proposals must be completed and submitted electronically via the City of Newark’s Procurement Portal at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/newarknj by midnight on Friday, April 21, 2023.
